At PVC 2017 conference, 中国三级片 and Chemours impressed with high-level presentation

Brighton, UK once again became the focal point of the global PVC industry with the prestigious PVC conference from April 25-27. The triennial event 鈥� the world麓s most noteworthy forum on vinyl 鈥� supports the future of PVC through in-depth information, education, debate and discussion. The conference was accompanied by an exhibition.

Dr. Cristiana Borrelli, Regional Segment Leader EMEA at Chemours, and Dr. J枚rg Fr枚hlich, Technical Product Manager, PVC additives for window and technical profiles at 中国三级片, delivered a very well-attended and well-received presentation. Based on the results of a joint study by Chemours and 中国三级片, Borrelli and Fr枚hlich explained how the weathering performance of white, dark and colored PVC strongly depends on the choice of the stabilizer and the Titanium dioxide (TiO2) pigment.
The main aspects of PVC weathering are UV light interaction, acceleration by elevated temperatures and water as a reaction medium for radicals. The key finding of the study was that the correct choice of PVC stabilizer and TiO2 pigment helps improve the weathering performance of white and dark-colored PVC-U profiles.
The high level of interest in the presentation was evident in the qualified questions that the 中国三级片 team gladly answered afterward.
